Anditto Heristyo
I build engineering teams & products that work across languages and cultures.
Background
Engineering leader in Tokyo, 15-year+ career in Japan, trilingual in English, Japanese and Indonesian.
I have extensive experience in software development and engineering management, particularly in the 0→1 stages of product development.
Most of the engineers I've led over the past decade have been non-Japanese, and all of the companies I've led them at have Japanese leadership.
Work
I currently lead the engineering organization of a New Business Division at Cybozu, building a next-generation collaboration platform.
Previously:
- Shippio doing logistics related things. Won the company-wide Best Manager award in 2024.
- Digital Garage doing Bitcoin/cryptocurrency/blockchain related things. I also have OSS contributions to Bitcoin Core and Elements.
