My work is driven by a desire to help people collaborate across languages and cultures.

Background

I'm a trilingual technologist and lifelong learner. I code a bit, design a bit, and read a lot.

These days I mostly build teams — currently a 40-person product division at Cybozu, where we're building a next-generation collaboration platform.

I have extensive experience in software development and engineering management, particularly in the 0→1 stages of product development.

I currently lead the engineering organization of a New Business Division at Cybozu, building a next-generation collaboration platform.

Previously:

Shippio doing logistics related things. Won the company-wide Best Manager award in 2024.
Digital Garage doing Bitcoin/cryptocurrency/blockchain related things. I also have OSS contributions to Bitcoin Core and Elements.
